Learners, ‘A’ certificate flyers and a couple of ‘B’ flyers.

 

Our own examiner (be nice to him—although it makes no difference)

 

We are one of the few clubs that has successfully incorporated fixed wing and helicopter flying in a mixed area. We have a limit on Helicopter pilot numbers but always discuss new potential members.

 

Overall we are a mixed bag, this page will hopefully be updated regularly showing a few of the members in more detail.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Simon Orpin:

 

Helicopter committee member and most prolific student so far

Simon started on the fixed wing side of the club and quickly progressed through training getting his ‘A; certificate.

 

Simon was a dyed in the wool “I will only fly scale” until he got a couger from there he went mad and is our leading exponent of what can I make a plane do crowd.

 

Simon shocked everyone by getting a helicopter and obtaining his helicopter ‘A’ test in  weeks—*********!
